Answer: The owner of the show American Idol has purchased most of
the rights to Elvis Presley Enterprises. Robert Sillerman has recently
bought the rights to Elvis Presley's music and likeness from Elvis
Presley Enterprises for a large sum of money.
This means that Robert Sillerman now has the right to use any Elvis song
he chooses for whatever reason. This is why American Idol contestants
were allowed to use Elvis songs last year in one of the American Idol
shows.
This is why they even had an Elvis segment on American
Idol, to begin with.
Besides this, there is also something that Elvis Presley and American
Idol has in common. There is much talk and publicity that producers of
the American Idol show are going to announce something special this
year.
What can it be?
No one seems to know exactly what announcement, or piece of information
will be revealed. However, one thing is for sure. There is much talk
about something to do with Elvis Presley and American Idol. And it's not
just using his music on the show.
The show is now affiliated with Elvis Presley because of the owner of
the show. No doubt, there will be something special announced on the
show, soon. Could it be the announcement of a new Elvis show in Las
Vegas?
Could it be the debut of a new Elvis impersonator on American Idol?
Could it be a contest for Elvis impersonators on American Idol?
No one seems to know the exact information, but
something is up. There are many making predictions. Elvis Presley and
American Idol are somehow going to make a public connection this year.
I know that Simon Cowell is very critical of anybody impersonating
anyone. I'm sure he's not thrilled with Elvis impersonator's either.
However, the fact still remains that there is a connection between
American Idol, and Elvis Presley.
