Elvis' father, Vernon Presley, had an incorrect name carved on the
headstone of Elvis.
Elvis' middle name was Aron. That is the name Elvis was
given at birth. The name that was printed on his birth certificate.
Vernon had his name printed as Aaron on the gravestone. Why did he do
that? What was he trying to
accomplish? Could the reason be because he knew some other mysterious
information? Information that we don't?
When Elvis was laid to rest in his coffin, photographers and the press
were not allowed to photograph his body. However, the National Enquirer
paid a third cousin of Elvis to smuggle in a small camera and take a
picture of Elvis' body at his funeral.
The photo was published in the National Enquirer and resulted in much
shock from Elvis fans around the world. It seemed that the photograph of
Elvis did not resemble him, especially the chin and eyebrows.
In the early 1970s Elvis was invited to the White House. He met with
President Nixon. There were several photos made of the meeting and
during this time gifts were exchanged between Elvis and the President.
One of the items given the Elvis by the President was a DEA badge.
Elvis was issued an actual DEA badge and DEA number from the federal
government. It seems that the government has not done this type of thing
since Elvis. Why did the government do this for Elvis and not for other
celebrities? Perhaps Elvis was working undercover for the government and
was since placed in the witness protection program.
It was determined that Elvis' coffin weighed over 900 lbs. Now even with
Elvis overweight it is unlikely that the coffin would weigh that much.
However, there is a theory that the body inside the coffin was not
actually Elvis.
Furthermore, it has been suggested that a wax figure was placed in the
coffin instead of a real body. To counter the effects of the hot Memphis
heat in August, a portable air cooler was placed in the coffin. Could
this be the real reason the coffin was so heavy?
The last hours of Elvis' life and how Elvis was found at the time of his
death are not agreed upon by all the people who were present, or
witnessed the event.
One person has a story of Elvis doing one thing before he died and being
found one way with certain articles nearby, while another person has a
different story of what Elvis did before he died with different articles
and surroundings. These inconsistencies cause distrust in the
credibility of any of the stories.
Elvis' manager Col. Tom Parker held a press conference not long after
Elvis' death. His words seemed very strange. He said that "Elvis didn't
die. The body did. We're keeping up the good spirits. We're keeping
Elvis alive. I talked to him this morning and he told me to carry on."
What was Col. Tom Parker trying to accomplish with these strange words?
Did these words have more than one meaning?
Pieces of evidence suggest Elvis was planning on his very end. Elvis'
next concert was due to begin on August 16, 1977. However, Elvis did not
order any new costumes for this tour. Moreover, during the previous tour
Elvis sang, 'Blue Christmas,' but it was during the summer season. Was
he providing a message? Also, Elvis fired several of his staff members
and close friends right before he died.
Five months before Elvis died, he had family members, except for his
daughter, removed from his will. Was he planning on doing something else
with his money?
August 17, 1977, a mysterious man purchased a ticket to Buenos Aires at
the Airport in Memphis. Note the man had an uncanny resemblance to Elvis
Presley. Furthermore, the man used the name, John Burrows. John Burrows
was a code name that Elvis used frequently for making hotel reservations
for himself and his entourage.
Elvis was said to have been reading a book at the time of his death. The
book that he was allegedly reading was titled "The Shroud of Turin."
However, The Shroud of Turin was not published until a year following
Elvis' death. This is a very strange occurrence. What could it mean?
A private recording label released the CD titled "Kingtinued," in 2002.
This CD featured songs of what sounded like Elvis singing but were not
written, in did not exist, prior to August 16, 1977. Various other songs
are said to have been written, or cowritten by Elvis, as well.
One of the songs is titled, Rollin' Up Hill. Elvis Presley supposedly
cowrote this song with Paul Terry King in the early 1970's during one of
his recording sessions at American Recording Studio. "Suspicious Minds"
was recorded during this time, as well. A demo of the song, Rollin Up
Hill, was recorded by William Riopelle, and can be downloaded from the
Internet by clicking on the title,
