Elvis Impersonator Computer Virus?

Elvis impersonators have been around for many years. Elvis Presley impersonator web sites are becoming just as popular as the impersonators themselves. However, as I was researching Elvis Presley impersonator web sites, an interesting thing happened.

As one of the Elvis web pages were loading in my browser, my antivirus software detected a virus. This was a surprise to me, to say the least. The small window popped up and informed me that the protective software had detected and prevented a virus called "bloodhound exploit" from invading my system.

A word of warning to all of you Elvis Presley fans out there. Please make sure that when you visit some of the Elvis impersonator web sites, you have good antivirus software protection.

I'm not exactly sure what the bloodhound exploit virus does to your system, but I'm sure that it's not a good thing.

Although viruses are dangerous and something to be concerned about, they're probably not your biggest worry. Most web sites don't necessarily have an interest in ruining your system.

Instead, they like to install adware and spyware to your computer. Adware and spyware are much like viruses. However, they can send companies back valuable information, such as what you do on your computer.

For example, it can record your keystrokes, the programs you use, the things you do on your computer, the places you go and things you buy on the Internet.

Then, they can market specific items to you in hopes that you purchase from them. That's probably the new threat of the Internet at this time. There are clues to adware and spyware, when you go to certain sites.

This is not just Elvis impersonator sites, but any site where they aggressively market. Any web site where pop up boxes start accumulating, you need to quickly exit.

Most certainly, you expect adware and spyware from free hosting web sites were Elvis Presley material, and Elvis impersonator information is often found. Adware and spyware can drastically slow your system down. If your system is not running like it used to, or if it just sits there for extended periods before responding after executing a program, chances are you have adware or spyware on your system.

You need to install software that removes adware and spyware installed on your system from sneaky websites. My suggestion would be to use the free programs Adaware and Spybot.

In conclusion, you need to install good antivirus software that protects you from viruses on the Internet. Also, download, install, and run adware and spyware programs on a regular basis.

I run my adware and spyware software at least once it week. Depending on how much research I'm doing, I may run my adware and spyware software every day or every other day.
